Christine Chagema

Personal Testimony

MY LIFE STORY.

I’m Christine Chagema, the firstborn among three (3) siblings. I grew up at Brackenhurst in Limuru with my two parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chagema. Both my parents are Christians. During my early years, my parents took me to school here in Limuru (both high school and primary). Later I pursued International Relations for one year then I deferred and traveled to Iraq in 2018 for two years.

In 2021, I joined ONN THE WAY SUPERMARKET as an assistant accountant where I worked for a period of 2years. In the year 2023 April 8th, I got married to Reverend ERICK MARKARIOS. Since then I began helping my husband in his ministry. In September 2023 I joined Missionary Paul Lee in his children’s ministry where I have been working as an administrator to date. I am always glad that I was told “Come let us go to the house of my father—God”.

MY SALVATION.

There is a day I can never forget in my life, and that is the day when I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my savior. It was a day like no other because what I felt then is in-explainable. It was on the 8th day of the year 2008 when our pastor preached about “THE KINGDOM OF GOD”. After the sermon there was an alter call and that is when I stood up and made a decision to follow Christ and be one of his disciples. Before receiving Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior, my life was a miss because nothing was working for me. Everything seemed to be against me and my whole world was shuttered and full of void. I used to feel so alone and loneliness was my everyday lifestyle.

But after Jesus Christ came into my life, everything changed for good because my school studies which used to be hard for me became a walk in the park. I started feeling the love I never felt before. Favored became my other name because wherever I went, people treated me well including my own family members. Through Jesus I became a light in my family. Everything was working for my good in all aspects of my life. Then I began telling others about Jesus who is the way the truth and the life all human beings need. I understood that there are two ways in life and everyone must choose one way (I have been inviting people to choose the narrow way so that they may live.

Lastly, I wish to state that through me many have accepted the good news of our Lord Jesus by the help of the Holy Spirit, and now we have a young generation that is ready to change the world through the word of God. And so, today I am confident that if I leave this world behind, I have left a legacy in that there are people to continue with the good work of spreading the gospel of Christ. I am happy to say that there is peace and hope in Christ when all others are failing. I thank God that today I am a living testimony of what God can do to those who believe and have faith in Him. Glory to God.
