Personal Testimony

I was born in a Christian family; my father is a pastor. In the year 2010, the Lord saved me. Pastor preached from the book of First Samuel chapter one concerning the wicked sons of Eli who was the high priest. The things that they were doing concerning those people who came to give their sacrifices to God, really touched me and the Lord convinced me through the holy spirit that I am also a thief. My father was a treasure in our zone comprising 5 churches, so he used to keep the Christmas offering that was collected to be taken 2-hour Baptist Convention of Kenya. So, I used to pick some of the envelopes take out the money, and use it for my pleasure. My father used to teach me God’s word but it reached a time where I was thoroughly beaten because of stealing Christmas offering money from the envelopes. Concerning that sermon, I approached my pastor who was called Joshua Wanyama, and told him that I needed salvation so that my life change and I would never steal again. I was asked do you believe yes; I believe that Jesus came to die for me and save me. That’s how I was saved and from that time up to now I’m continuing in that faith.

I have served in various departments including children, and youth, being a Bible school teacher and also the church secretary.
